Flat Stanley #2 (Travis' Stanley)

Travis' Stanley got stuffed in an envelope and sent to my sister Jessica (but she's not much for the blogging, so I had to take over to tell her tale!)

One of the first places a lot of tourists head when they come to our lovely province is Signal Hill, so that's where Jess took her Stanley for their first adventure! It was a blustery day, she's lucky Stanley didn't blow away! They couldn't even get all the way to the top of the hill because there was SO much traffic from other people trying to see the icebergs we get here in the harbour!

Whoa Stanley, hold on tight!

Pass the ketchup, Stan!
After being out in the cold wind, all Stanley really wanted to do was curl up and watch some tv with his new pal! Of course, it's hard to watch tv when you're stuck to it!

Stanley didn't want to go to work, though!
When Travis' mom lived in Newfoundland, she used to work at a place called the Confederation Building.  That's a big building in St. John's.  Here's Stanley checking it out!

As usual, Stanley was ready to get his grub on! So Jess took him for a bite to eat at Ches's Fish and Chips, one of the most famous restaurants here in St. John's!

Eat up, Stanley!

Stanley's a college boy now!
Memorial University, located here in St. John's, is where Jess, me, and our other sister Samantha went/go to university! It has over 17000 students and the lowest tuition rates in the country!

Hungry Stanley found a snack that was right up his alley after his trip around the city!  They're both flat and thin!

And, of course, just like Abby's Stanley, this Stanley got along just great with Binky the kitty cat! She even took him for a piggyback ride!
Don't let go, pal!

Stanley #2 was a real pro at being a tourist in St. John's! He said it was a pretty cool place to visit and would recommend it to anyone, whether you travel by envelope, plane, or car!

Stanley #2,
Signing off!
